In 2007, my new little homeschooling WordPress.com blog was nominated for a Homeschool Blog Award.
I think it was the Nitty Gritty Category.
My little blog was my second blog, dedicated to all things homeschool, and aptly titled “I’m not crazy, I’m homeschooling”.
I didn’t win, but I was totally blown away by the nomination.
I remember I started following Heather’s blog. I remember that was when I really started following a lot of homeschool things (blogs, forums, etc.) Then two blogs turned into four blogs {and two kids turned into four kids} and I finally put on my big girl bloggy pants. I purchased this domain. I signed on for some hosting. I combined all my efforts here.
About a year ago, I was offered an opportunity to submit a guest post for The Homeschool Post. I was so.stinkin’.nervous.
When the offer came in a few months later asking me if I wanted to write for The Post – regularly with my pic in the sidebar and everything – I was on cloud nine.
I didn’t think it could get any cooler than that…..until….
