Help me decide…

I’m considering getting a table at a craft show in May. I’d have to do a LOT of sewing between now and then because I just do not have enough product to fill a $10 table.

I want to have some variety, but not too much.

Here are some of the things I make, can make, or plan to make and what they would cost at the show. Please leave a comment with 4 things you think I should have on the table and any other suggestions!

Ear bud cases $9   (I can make them bigger to hold debit cards but will need to order more clips)

chalkboard placemats $8

superhero capes $8

eye masks for girls $5

bibs and matching paci clips $12

lil dribblers $8

aprons $15-20 (kids and adults)

girl purses $15

Kindle/Nook sleeves $15

baby doll beds $8 (basic cotton “sleeping bag” with a padded quilted feel)

Totes $25+

Business Card/ Debit Card Cases $8

I’m going to be in a gift basket!

Ok, not me… but my stuff will be in it!

I’m not sure how she found me, but Katy from the Great Cloth Diaper Change found me on Etsy and asked me if I would consider sending a donation to be raffled off at their big event.

I sent over five of my Swivel Clip Multi Pouches.

There are so many great prizes! I am honored to be included in that group.

I’ve also received my first real order for my Lil Dribbler mini bibs!

Time to get sewing!  When I’m done with this order, I hope to finish up the purses and aprons to add to my shop.

The girl aprons will be this style but without the name (obviously Smile  ).

Owly Images

These are the Easter purses I made for my girls a while back, but the new ones are in the same style.

Now….if I could just kick this cold and get moving!

After a tear or two

I’m not the best house keeper. I love to organize but struggle at staying organized. Hubby has suffered through numerous do-overs in our home. We’ve even swapped entire rooms before (kids room and our room, school room and craft room and kitchen). So when I asked him this weekend to take me to Lowe’s for a little pegboard project I had in mind he didn’t respond very kindly.

What started out as me just being disappointed turned into me being mad as fire.

**quick explanation: He had told me 6 weeks ago while standing in Lowes that if I wanted a peg board I could have one. This weekend he said he never told me I could have one. So either I was a liar or I was hearing voices in my head, either way it’s not something you want to accuse me of.**

I sewed until I calmed down a bit and then we talked. I showed him pictures online of non manly garage style pegboard set ups. Then he took me to Lowes.

This is what I made:

Grocery bag holder, Four Dishtowels (Osnaburg), KitchenAid Mixer Cover, Curtains, Three Potholders in Green and Michael Miller’s Fifties Kitchen print!
